You do not have to book standard entry tickets in advance. You can pay the conservation fee directly at the SANParks gate using a bank card.
The international conservation entry fee is about R245 per adult (SANParks updates it each November) and R120 per child. South African citizens pay much less.
Yes. SANParks enforces a strict 100% cashless policy at the gates. No paper currency of any kind is accepted.

Wonderful day trip to cape of good hope and simon town/boulders beach for penguin sighting.
A tour packed with things to see and so, worth it. Very knowledgable and friendly guide, careful driver. Was full of information and facts and managed to keep it going til the very end. Fabulous, enjoyed it immensely.
